Dust mops are a staple of just about every cleaning business. Whether you clean homes or businesses they come in handy.

I can’t tell you how many I had in my business, but it certainly was quite a few. I settled on Rubbermaid for my needs, but many others are good too.

Anyway, I scanned the pages over at Amazon to come up with a few highly rated dust mops that are worthy of your consideration. Take a peek and see if they are a fit for what you need in your business. None of them are all that expensive which is a nice bonus!

Juse a note from a janitor at a major hospital currently. The 18-24 inch size microfiber mop is all we use. Most of the people have many extra microfiber mops on their cart daily though. Because in every patient room a new one is required because because of cross contamination. Also they get dirty and have to be replaced as needed. For cleaning buildings though, It may be ok to just have a supply available and wash at end of week.

A lot of times, I just vacuum as I think it picks up better than dust mops. What are your thoughts?

Depends… it’s a matter of perception. Some times a homeowner / facility manager wants to see the dust mop (the vacuum can be perceived as a SHORTCUT). Depends on customer in my opinion.
